With five shows currently devoted to reality tv, cable's HGTV has launched "Secrets that Sell," and "Bought and Sold." The show "House Hunters" draws 1.2 million viewers nightly. These "reality" tv shows devoted to real estate are doing well despite a softening real estate market. Shows that focus on selling homes by "flippers" are particularly popular. Some of the cable channels building up home-dealing programming featuring new shows with do-it-yourselfers, investors, and developers, include TLC, Bravo, A&E, DIY, and HGTV.
