DirecTV to Launch New Satellite June 20th

DirecTV has said they will be adding plenty of HD channels this year. Current MPEG4 satellites are designed to beam high-definition local channels. Now, DirecTV will launch two new satellites specifically designed for national HD channels. The first of these satellites is named Direc TV 10 scheduled for Russian launch on June 20th. The new HD channels due in September should be operational if everything goes well with the launch of <em>Direc TV 10.
